Projects
As a studio for brand communication from Würzburg we help our clients give their communication a handwriting of their own. We tell what makes their brand unique. Honestly, with care, and with a standard. That's how consistent communication across channels forms. It gives the message and stance of the brand a clear visual and verbal voice.
Common questions
What does consistent brand communication mean, and why is it so rare?
Many brands speak with a different voice on every channel, and nobody notices. Consistent brand communication means: your brand sounds the same on Instagram as in your brochure, and feels the same in a campaign as on your website. That sounds simple. In practice it fails because communication splits into leftover projects. A flyer here, a social post there, no shared thread. We work with you to find that thread and hold it. As a partner helping you and your team shape communication, or in a strategic design process that gives you corporate design as a tool for consistent work.
What is the difference between brand communication and brand design?
These two sit so close that the line often blurs. Brand design gives your brand a visual language: colour, type, logo, form. Brand communication decides what you say with it. Which messages, in which tone, on which channels. Design without communication stays mute. Communication without design stays invisible. At fjnland we think both together, because a brand only works when form and content speak one language.
What is the difference between brand communication and brand strategy?
Hearing both for the first time, you wonder where one ends and the other starts. Brand strategy is the foundation: who you are, what you stand for, who you want to reach. Brand communication is the expression of that, outward. How you make what you are visible. Strategy without communication changes nothing. Communication without strategy fades. We often work on both, because one rarely holds without the other.
Can fjnland also take on individual pieces of work, or only the full package?
Not every project needs the full sweep, and that's fine. Both are possible. Sometimes it's one piece: a campaign, a publication, an editorial concept. Sometimes we stay with a brand over time. One thing matters either way: before we start, we want to understand what your brand stands for, even if it's only one building block. Only with an eye on the whole can we design consistently down to the smallest detail.
What does brand communication cost at fjnland?
The answer depends on what you have in mind, so a concrete number is hard here. We want to get to know you and your project, then make an offer that fits what you actually need. It makes a difference whether you need a twenty-page publication to inform customers about a new range, or a magazine that holds your audience with stories over time. If you're not sure yet, we can recommend our cycles. An ongoing process where we work with you on brand and communication, cut to what you need.
What does narrative communication mean?
Behind every brand is a story that's usually already there, just not told yet. Narrative communication means: your brand tells that story. Not an invented one. Its own. What drives you, what you do differently, what you actually stand for. Form follows Narration means design is never the point. The story is. Print, social or website, the story of your brand should show up in all of it.
