01 Context

Over 35 years of wedding fashion, grown across generations. With the latest change of generation came the chance to tell their own story again. For the wedding house Kerst, that was the moment to break out of grown patterns, without cutting the roots. Not a break with tradition. A new reading of it. What was missing was one face: an identity that makes the long experience visible, and at the same time carries the feeling of the wedding day, digitally and in the house.

02 Method

We took the change of generation as a strategic question, not a design job alone. At the centre is the newly designed brand architecture: Kerst stays as the umbrella, the experienced carrier of the history, while "Her Happy Day" and "His Happy Day" as independent offer brands take the emotional side, close, with a real feeling for the moment. We made the path of the couple from the first idea to the wedding day, the Bridal Journey, the strategic ground, and aligned the role of the brand to it. Tone and communication rails were sharpened too. From that ground came the corporate design and a design manual: terrazzo elements that lift the page, fine line graphics, and a classic wordmark in which tradition and the present meet.

03 Result

What we made is one self-assured brand image that carries both sides of the house across every point of contact. We translated it into the digital space with website and social, into a through line of stationery and print, and into the design on site, from the window foiling to the signage. The same handwriting everywhere. So more than 35 years of experience became an identity that makes the emotional side of the wedding day visible, without hiding the history. The design of the brand was ours. The professional advice for bride and groom stays with the specialists at Kerst. So we told the house as a close, experienced companion on the way to a wedding day you don't forget.
